Colonel Mustard

Another Oxford character. Colonel Mustard was a regular fixture outside department stores and coffee shops in the area especially in the summer when the the weather was a lot warmer.
He was in his nineties when he passed away a couple of years ago. I met him on several occaisions, talked to him and did a few sketches of him whilst he played his old radio to old forgotten dance tunes of the forties and fifties.
He used to be a tap dancer, a "hoofer" and would tell you all about his past career if you stopped and asked him. He didn't do so much as he got older but would sit down in the middle of Cornmarket Street and exchange risky remarks with his mates and passers by.
